Membership Costs


New member:
$392 ($65 initiation fee. $267 national dues. $60 PRSA Oregon chapter dues)

Renewing member:

$327 ($267 national annual dues. $60 chapter dues)

 

Associate Member*

No initiation fees. Annual national dues as follows:

Less than 1 year of experience: $122

1 to 2 years of experience: $162

2 to 3 years of experience: $207

graduate students: $67

PRSSA graduates: $67

Retired: $57

*after three years, associate members will be upgraded to full members. Graduate students may remain associate members for up to six years provided they are full-time matriculated students.

 

Former PRSA member (reinstating member):

$267 annual national dues plus a one-time $35 reinstatement fee, plus $60 chapter dues.

 

Local chapter membership dues

Full member/associate/retiree: $60 (no initiation fee). 

You must become a member of PRSA National in order to become a member of the PRSA Oregon Chapter. Dues for PRSA Oregon are $60 and must be paid at the time of your initial national application or annual renewal.


Group Membership

Group membership is a great way to demonstrate the value of professional development within your organization. Teams of five or more members never pay an initiation fee and receive access to all of PRSA’s offerings at a reduced rate.

 

A team of five or more members will receive a waived initiation fee.

 

Provide immediate training on the latest tactics and strategies through online and in-person events.

 

Help build business through connections to an engaged network of more than 21,000 colleagues.

Scholarships available

 

PRSA Oregon has a limited number of scholarships available to cover the cost of a one-year membership to PRSA Oregon for a new member who has five years or less in the public relations/communications profession. These are reserved for those who may have a barrier to joining because of the cost.
