Thank you APR volunteers!

This past summer, the chapter hosted a “reunion” for members who have the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR). Attendees were asked to mentor members interested in getting their APR and/or be a guest presenter for this year’s APR Prep Course – and our APRs stepped up, with about 90 percent volunteering to help.

A big thank you to the following who prepared and presented a session for the APR Prep Course on one of the KSA’s that make up the panel presentation and computer-based test: Stacy Moe-Kean, APR; Mike Riley, APR; Ian Rollins, APR; Mark Mohammadpour, APR, APR College of Fellows; Kassie Swenson, APR; Mara Woloshin, APR, APR College of Fellows; and Andrea Watson, APR.

And the following for serving as APR Mentors: Brad Hilliard, APR; Tracy Lam, APR; Rhonda Morin, APR; Christine Pickering, APR; Ian Rollins, APR; Brian Terrett, APR, APR College of Fellows; and Athena Vadnais, APR.

If you have your APR and would like to volunteer OR you are thinking about getting your APR and want to take part in the APR Prep Course next Fall, please contact Carol Fenstermacher, APR, PRSA Oregon Advancement Director.
