Hello, fellow communicators!
It’s that time of year again: We’re very excited to announce that we are now accepting presenter proposals for our next Communicators Conference, coming up on Friday, May 15, 2020 at the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton Portland.
Every year, the Public Relations Society of America — Oregon Chapter invites people from all across the state and SW Washington to share their insights and experiences. Whether you’ve worked in communications for decades or you’ve just begun your career, we want to hear
The deadline for submitting proposals is Midnight PST on Friday, February 14, 2020.
We’ll let you know if your proposal has been accepted by Saturday, February 29, 2020.
Professional development program topics for CommCon 2020 were approved by the board, and we’re looking for speakers and panelists who can contribute their expertise and perspective to these subjects.

•Format is 30-60 minutes. (Full hour segments that incorporate engagement, participation, workshops, etc desirable)

A note about our selection process
When all other considerations surrounding expertise are equal, preference will be given to PRSA members and people possessing inherent and acquired forms of diversity.

The annual PRSA Oregon Communicator’s Conference attracts strategic communications (e.g., public relations, internal communications, content strategy) professionals spanning various industries, careers, and levels of experience. The event also attracts professionals working in other fields, including human resources, marketing, and media. The conference draws an audience of approximately 250 professionals. The conference focuses on trends that impact the communications professional by offering industry insights, interactive discussions and tangible skills. This year’s event promises to deliver valuable content and exciting presentations. Attendees will be able to connect with some of Oregon’s most influential companies and organizations.
