The Public Relations Society of America isn’t your typical professional membership association. Yes, membership gives you access to an incredible national network, an accreditation program to distinguish you among your peers and more professional development opportunities than you could possibly consume in any given year, but more importantly, active members build relationships with others — others like them.
Let’s face it: We’re the kind of people who sleep with our phones. We walk into a restaurant and think about the stories they should be pitching Portland Monthly to attract more diners. Our friends and family think we’re a little…much. We need to form deep connections with others like us, people who “get” you.
