The chapter has revived its Mentor Match program to provide a resource within our chapter that fosters career growth through mentoring relationships.
Chapter members who want to be matched with a mentor should contact Tom Unger, APR, ABC, Fellow PRSA at tomunger@comcast.net.
Chapter members who would like to volunteer to serve as a mentor to others should also contact Tom.
Tom will match mentors with mentees, based on their mutual interests. It will be up to the two professionals to then determine the number of times they meet, how often and the best way to communicate.
There is no cost to participate in the program.
“An important aspect of any new professional’s career is the opportunity to find a mentor who can provide you valuable advice and counsel to help you grow in the profession,” said Tom. “Likewise, it’s an opportunity for seasoned professionals to pass their experience and knowledge to a new generation of practitioners.”
