We’ll look at how to tell a story with data and analytical insights as well as examine other creative aspects of communications research. We will review different types of research and the creative challenges that each brings when attempting to communicate them to a client or account team.

About the presenter: Melanie Decelles is a Chicago native who is passionate about technology, audience analysis, and DE&I initiatives within market research. She currently works as an Associate Managing Consultant with Ketchum Analytics, where she primarily supports technology clients and is active in diversity initiatives within the company.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Shimer College in Social Science with an emphasis in philosophy. This philosophical background has been crucial to developing her curiosity and helping her navigate difficult concepts in her work. She also holds a Master’s degree from the University of Chicago in the Social Sciences and an MA from DePaul University in Public Relations and Communications.
