The last year has been one full of challenges and opportunities. If you’re like me, it’s been a time to get creative with your work and try new things. It’s also been a chance to refine the work you’ve been doing. Wouldn’t it be nice to be recognized for your exceptional work? It’s time to enter your work in the 2021 PRSA Oregon Spotlight Awards!

Entering is easy. Pick your favorite tactic or campaign, write a brief summary and submit it online. Visit the PRSA Oregon website for details, then upload your entry to the portal.

The cost for each entry is $60 for PRSA Oregon members and $75 for non-members. Students who wish to submit their work for consideration, pay just $10 per entry. Pro-bono work is free to submit.

Why should you enter?

  • Brag about your team.
  • Reward a great client relationship.
  • Give your boss a reason to sing your praises.
  • Have a new story to tell at your holiday dinner table. Your mother will be so proud.

Speaking of being proud…

In addition to campaigns and tactics, each year we celebrate the leaders among us who are worthy of individual awards, called Awards of Distinction. The four special awards are:

  • William M. Marsh Lifetime Achievement Award
  • Olga M. Haley Mentorship Award
  • Ron Schmidt Community Involvement Award
  • New Professional Award of Excellence

These awards commemorate commitment, support, leadership and lifetime achievement. There is no fee to nominate someone. Learn more about how to nominate the people you believe deserve these distinguished awards.

Please take advantage of this opportunity to honor and celebrate the achievements and efforts of your fellow professionals.

Save the date for the awards ceremony

Mark your calendars for Nov. 18, 2021. After last year’s successful virtual awards ceremony, we’re going virtual again this year!  Our theme is “Silver Linings.” We’ll share stories of successes and challenges, laugh, and celebrate the best in business. Best of all, it’s free to attend! We’ll send out save-the-dates and registration information via email in the coming months.

If you have any questions about the award entry process or the event, please do not hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help.
