Part-Time PR Account Manager

Summary
SWPR Group is seeking a part-time contractor for approximately 10-15 hours of PR work/week. This position is responsible for providing PR support for multiple accounts and also managing social media for one of these accounts. Work includes ownership of client coverage reports, developing media lists, monitoring trends, reviewing publications, and some media relations support. WordPress knowledge is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Social Media: Responsible for managing the social media efforts for one of our accounts, including:
o Develop original posts for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+
o Use HubSpot to manage these posts
o Monitoring on Hubspot, Facebook and LinkedIn for comments and mentions
o Share suggestions for replies or actions on social media interactions with the client
o Creating monthly social media reporting
o Participating in monthly conference call with the client

• Media:
o Assist with execution of media relations and PR campaigns
o Monitor the news media for clients and review relevant publications and identify trends
o Identify pitching opportunities.
o Develop accurate lists of the most appropriate news media
o Help in drafting and distributing media pitches.

Qualifications
This person should display excellent communication skills including writing and research skills. This person should be extremely self-motivated and be able to communicate regularly and promptly with updates and have the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure. This individual should strive for consistency and accuracy in all deliverables. It’s important this person can request help in prioritizing workload when faced with conflicting deadlines.
